The Free Peoples of Russia House is a nonprofit initiative representing the Resistance to the Putin's regime. Established by the Congress of People's Deputies of the Russian Republic, it serves as a common platform for the Russian democratic opposition that shares the principles of the Berlin Declaration of 2023. The House includes supporters of all forms of resistance against the current regime.

Our Panelists

Valery Tsepkalo

A leading figure in the Belarusian opposition, Valery Tsepkalo is a political activist and founder of the Belarus High Technologies Park, which helped build the country’s IT sector. In 2020, he emerged as a top challenger to Alexander Lukashenko but was disqualified and barred him after authorities invalidated his candidacy. Facing threats of arrest, he fled Belarus with his children, while his wife, Veronika, joined the opposition movement with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Maria Kalesnikava. From exile, Tsepkalo continues to advocate for democratic reform and international pressure on Lukashenko’s regime. He founded the Free Belarus initiative to support political change and mobilize the diaspora.
